"After 25+ years of using an electric razor, I recently switched to Fusion Razor. I used one shaving gel for about six weeks. I had razor burn and bumps. I switched to another post shave lotion. That did not totally solve the problem. I switched to this Aveeno product. All of my redness/bumps/irritition went away. After a few weeks, I decided to test the original gel (the can was still 1/3 full), and my razor dragged across my cheek. I quickly cleaned the rest off and applied the Aveeno. "I use this right after I take a shower, only on my thighs and knees. The reason for this is that I have always had issues with bumps on these places from shaving. Using this on a regular basis makes it so I get few bummps if any. I often think what I will do in the future if they ever stop making this. If you have dry skin, this is not really a mosturizing lotion, but if you have any of the issues like I had, it should be perfect"

"When this product first came out, I was skeptical. I didn't think that any lotion could possibly change the texture of your hair. Now a couple years after Positively Smooth has been on the shelves, I thought I would try it on my bikini area. I applied the lotion every day as the directions on the back of the bottle instructed me to do, for 4 weeks. Voila! Finer, softer hair. Most people cringe at the thought of shaving this area, but with this product, it now can be shaved smoothly with no redness, bumps, or irritation. "I''ve used this for over a year. I don't think I would use it for its hair-thinning properties if I didn't like it as a moisturizer or like its smell, but I like both properties. Don't use it unless you think it does a good job at both because you do need to use it regularly to see a difference in hair growth, but over time, you will. I had very thick, coarse black hairs and blond hairs on my legs. I was trying waxing, but the different textures and my hair in general was causing a lot of ingrown hairs so my legs looked much worse than if I just shaved. After using this product, the blond hairs are gone and the black hairs are much softer. I usually shave everyday anyway, but shaving now is very fast. If I'm not going to expose my legs, I can skip a day or two and not have itchy legs, which I did before."
"Big surprise...it actually works! It takes a month or two to really notice a difference, but it does work. It doesn't really make it so you dont have to shave as often, but it does make your hair so much softer so that at the end of the day, your legs are still super smooth. It is a good moisturizer too. The shaving cream is also good. By the way, the Jergens stuff doesn't work, I thought I would try it because it is cheaper, but it doesnt work. Just spend the extra few bucks and buy the Aveeno stuff."
