Nars Madly
Madly: Seashell pink

Reviews
"This was my favorite back in.. I believe it was 2002? lol I seriously only wore this blush the WHOLE year. I started wearing it again this year because it makes me look like I have a tan hehe it just gives me a nice taupey beige-ish apricot glow. I also like to use my mac refined msf on the apples of my cheeks looks really pretty when I pair these two together. Oh! and I'm an NC40 in studio fix powder foundation. "
"Um, hello cheekbones! This gorgeous tanned peachy apricotty shade looks kinda muddy and boring in the pan but it applies so gorgeous. It will look orangey on you if you are very pale, but on my MAC C3-ish skin it looks really good. It makes me look like I was born with great supermodel-esque bone structure. It's super pigmented, so you only need a tiny dab."
"This is the blush I reach for most. I LOVE Nars
and have become a collector. I just counted and I have 6 multiples, 8 powder blushes, and 3 cream blushes from this brand. I use this one the most... it is the PERFECT everyday blush. It's very natural... brownish color with a hint of pinkish-peachy color. I have medium skin (Dior 300, MUFE HD 125), in case the reference helps anyone. It provides a natural glow, without too much shimmer. It's perfect for the minimal makeup-look or for when you want to emphasize a dramatic eye. I will re-purchase for sure- but since you use such little product for the desired look, I don't anticipate running out anytime soon. Love, love Nars... and Madly is my favorite. :))"
"Normally I refrain from blushes because I already have a natural one anyway, but I couldn't help but like this. It is a nice neutral pink on my medium skintone and still manages to look very natural and effortless. The texture is nice too. Does not sit on top of my skin. I can see why others use this as a contour blush too. I have always loved Nars packaging and I love the mirror that comes with this. Makes it easy for the morning rush to work. "
"After many years of trying bright, more 'obvious' blushes I came across Madly. Thank god!! It is a believable rose biege color, and so easy to put on in the morning in a rush. It looks boring light brown in the pan, but it does provide a lovely flush. I have medium skin, lighter when I don't self-tan, but I can use this any day of the week. I have many, many blushes-mostly h/e stuff, but this is the most beautiful and totally natural on me. I do think it would be fine on light skin, used sparingly. Oh, yes, very little shimmer, NO glitter (talkin' to you, super orgasm) just a light healthy sheen. You need this:) "
"Every time I buy a NARS
blush, I am initially disappointed by how the color looks when I first apply it. This is probably because NARS products are so heavilty pigmented compared to other cheaper brands (I'm talking to you, MAC!). Then I play around with other brushes and end up in love. This is what happened to me with this product for sure! With a soft brush like a 187, a light hand and this is the PERFECT nude pink on me. I add a little Tarte cheekstain in Tipsy as a highlighter and it's a perfect natural look; hello, cheekbones! Great color to sculpt with, buildable if you want more color for evening; I won't be shopping for blush anymore"
"This is a pretty pinky beige blush, very soft, and with minimal shimmer. The result is very natural and pretty. This color is not warm or cool - it's completely neutral. It also gives cheekbones. I think this color is neutral enough to go with any lip and eye colors. I disagree with NARS' description of "seashell pink" for this color. Also, this will not give you rosy cheeks or a pop of color. But this color is great for a natural make up look, or a strong lip or eye. Very pretty."
"I finally decided to step out of my box and try something new, when I was mesmerized by all the pretty blush colors from the NARS display in Sephora. This one struck me right away because I like to have a nudish/pinkish blush that once it hits the sunlight you can see radiance off my cheeks. This one does the trick. My skin changes very easily during the seasons because I can become very pale/caramel during the winter and then I can become very TAN during the summer. I bought this over the summer and I absolutely loved it, and I still love it during these winter months. I do put dolce vita on first and then I use this to make the dolce vita less rosey and more subtle. I love NARS blushes! I'm hooked!"
"This is one of my all-time favorite blushes. On your face it looks nothing like it does in the pan. Applied it looks like a faintly pinkish flush, but I think the key is the shimmer. Whatever I am wearing underneath it, Madly adds a glow which is beautiful. There is no other color like this out there. Highly recommend for any brunette with a medium skin tone. Totally worth the money!"
"This is the best natural blush I have ever found. It is nice because it does have some brown undertones to it, but it never makes you look muddy or sallow, and I am olive complected. I didn't like this when I first saw it in the package, but once I put it on it was LOVE! I can use this for everyday when I want soft and natural and never have to worry about it clashing with the rest of my makeup which I like because it is a no-brainer. This is one of the only blushes I am yet to hit pan on and that is a big accomplishment for me. Warms up your skin tone and makes you look glowly without a bronzer. It is just awesome, I don't even know what else to say!"
"Madly is a lovely, shimmery nude pink flush on my NC35- 40 skintone. I love using this as a contour color, an everyday blush that goes with everything, and as the perfect muted cheek color when I want to play up my eyes. This is definately what I call a "chameleon color"; it looks different on every person who wears it. I recommended this to a friend of mine with a very similar skintone, and she didn't like that way it looked on her at all. So if you can, I suggest you try before you buy. But if it can work for you, Nars
Madly is simply beautiful and indispensable :-)"
"I wanted a pick me up and went to the NARS counter, I asked the girl for a neutral blush. She tried to just throw the usual Deep throat or Orgasam. I told her no that i wanted something more toned down that would bring a hint of colour and no glitter. She tried Madly on me and I loved it, its a beautiful seashell pink with a slight bronze colour to it, even thought I own many other blushes I could not put them on because Madly was always tempting me.
Its great with Cococabana underneath as a highlighter! You dont have to try to hard to apply it like MAC dollymix. I'm an NC30-35, NC 37 at summer. So I dont know how amazing it would look on fairer skin, because there is a sorta bronze to it.
I also love the packaging, nice rubbery compact, mirror is actually useful!
Shame I hit pan on this four months ago, theres nothing left!"
"Beautiful muted pink with brown undertones, it's the perfect blush for smokey eyes. Great for face contouring. This is such a versatile blush that warms up my skin beautifully. A must have if you don't anything too pink or peachy.
I am between an NC20 - NC 30.
Asian with yellow undertones."
"This peach color is very awesome on my cheek, and with the glitters in the powder it just glow the face. It can be used with different tone of makeup like pink/ orange / brown and when I'm in a hurry, I just wear this madly blush with the nude gloss on my lips and that's it. "
"I was a tad stunned when I got this in a swap and it was sooooo soooo very brown in the pan, much more so than is represented on any site I had visited. I was even more stunned at how pleased I was after testing it! I am pale with pink undertones and need a bit of "sun" so normally use a bronzer on my cheeks rather than a pink toned blush which makes me look ruddy. Madly is a great winter substitute for my summer bronzer and gives me a more blushed look. I will likely be using it in combination with some other Nars blushes to achieve the perfect shade, but so far so good. Texture is gorgeous too, so smooth."
Nars Luster
Luster: Sheer golden apricot

Reviews
"I have to concur with all of the Asian girls out there that this blush is definitely the best! My complexion is around NC30 and I find that this blush delivers a healthy pink-bronzy glow when I apply it. It's hard to over apply it also as it looks quite natural. I love it and would highly recommend this blush. "
"Pretty sure that I'm in love with this blush....it's sooo pretty! I can now understand the nars
blush addiction...and it's just beginning for me! My poor wallet is going to suffer. :) Anyway, this is the perfect blush for me...it's like a warm, tan/peach with golden shimmer! I'm an nc35, olive-ish gal and this is a great match. This makes my face look so alive and pretty! I'm somewhat inexperienced in the world of blush I might add, and I think this is a good color to start with. Give it a try!"
"I'm African-American with MUFE 150/153 coloring and I bought this as a highlighter thinking I wouldn't get much color pay off. I didn't try it on at Sephora. However, it actually shows up on my skin as a gorgeous peachy shimmer blush! It's become my favorite everyday go-to for a polished subtle blush. My previous favorite, "Gina" has been neglected as I adore this one sooo much. I intend to try to layer this over Gina - soon..."
"The fact that this is "sheer" and is described as such is a huge plus. Sometimes, "sheer" is just what the doctor ordered! This is a very versatile blush ... used on it's own it gives a nice glow, but my favorite way to use it is over another more "louder" color ... play around and experiment and you will see what I mean. I bought this some time back and kinda ignored it not really knowing what to do with it but I have found it is very useful and great paired with other blushes - used over top of Stila "Gerbera" color is so pretty. I have to admit I am not a huge NARS fan - hate the lipsticks, hate the eye pencils, eyeshadows are ok but overpriced, but they do know a thing or two about making blush, no doubt."
"I love this blush. It looks super shimmery in the pan, but when applied it imparts a nice glowy peach color. I like to wear this blush with a stronger eye because it is so subtle. Or I can layer it to give a deeper color. In the evening, I put Albatross on top which gives a gorgeous result. Love you, NARS! For those of you who complained that this blush had to be layered, take note: on the NARS site Luster is described as a Sheer Golden Apricot, the key word being SHEER!!!! How can you buy a sheer blush and then complain that it is too (gasp!) sheer?! This blows my mind. Here's an idea: if you don't want a sheer blush, don't buy a blush that's described as sheer!! Problem solved!!"
"Blows my former HG, Orgasm, out of the water. When I saw this color at Sephora after all the raves on MUA, I was disappointed because it looked so normal and skin-toned in the pan. But I had been thinking for awhile that Orgasm was a little too pink for my skintone, so I decided to get Luster. It is a golden, lovely shade with slight shimmer in it, sort of looks like a bronzer meant for very, very fair ladies. I think it resolved my problem with fake-looking cheek color, and my face looks glowy and healthy. For now- definitely HG."
"I came to Sephora, trying to decide between Luster and Sertao. I ended up buying Luster because it is such a pretty apricot color with a nice sheen that wasn't overly sparkly. It gives a very natural look and brightens up your face. Also, I didn't buy Sertao because it was a little too gold for me. It was also much more sparkly. If you're looking for a neutral and natural blush, I suggest this one."
"This is one of my favorite blushes, I use it whenever I want something more "natural" looking. I even brush a little on my nose when I look a little too washed out. I have a lighter medium skin tone and it looks fabulous-- the apricot dusting with shimmer is gorgeous. This blush can work all year round, I probably use it more than my other Nars blushes (Deep Throat for summer/spring and Crazed for fall/winter)."
Nars Gilda
Gilda: Coral

Reviews
"Gilda is very nice coral/peachy color that suites my fair skin. No need to mention that it's very pigment. I read all the reviews before I went and got it and every reviewer told to be very cariful when applying because of how pigment blush is. I thought to myself: How bad it can be it just a blush... Well, it can be bad( I found out after the first application) however, with a light hand the color is refreshing and beautiful . Also, it last most of the day. Good buy."
"It is the perfect peachy and pink mix, I have been looking for this combination for a while. It complements my NC 25 asian skin tone. The only thing I dont like about it is that it doesnt stay on, I have to reapply every 3 hours, maybe I applied it too light handed. "
"This is my go-to blush - it's the perfect peachy shade for any season, no matter how winter-pale or tanned my skin is. It's extremely buildable - the pigment is rich, so it can get very vivid - and it feels so silky that I can't even feel it on my face. Very expensive, but I've only had to buy it once, and I've had mine for at least two years now.. plus, it looks so good that I really don't need to look for anything new."
"This is a real coral shade that is so beautifully pigmented! I suggest using a skunk or fan brush for this for a lighter hand, but I also tried it with my normal blush brushes from Clinique and Everyday Minerals, and the results were just as great. Gilda gives my NC25-30ish skin a very nice natural glow since this coral colour is without shimmer, it really looks like I'm naturally blushing. It's easy to build on your skin for a more dramatic look for the evening. The colour is also great under bronzer for a nice glow. Would definitely repurchase when I run out. "
"This is the first NARS
blush I have ever owned. I was super excited because I have heard all the hype -- and yes the hype is true! The saleswoman picked the color out for me and at first I was a bit hesitent because it looks very bright orange in the pan and I have fair skin and I feel like my face gets easily washed out. However, she put a little bit on my cheeks, eyelids, and above my brows to brighten up my face and I just fell in love right there!!!! It doesn't go on bright or harsh at ALL, yet it is buildable so you can go from a bright, cheery natural day look and then deepen it for a nice evening look, too. It's a true peachy glow and I like the fact it doesn't have shimmer. I have been using it everyday for over a month and haven't even slightly dented the product, so I know it will last forever!"
"I love this blush. It looks perfectly natural on my tan skin, and that is exactly the look I'm going for. Great quality, great pigmentation. I have a medium brown skintone with golden undertones, I'm about an NC30, I'd say, and this blush is my natural blush. I think the key for all Nars blushes is to not use a heavy hand. If you're heavy handed, it'll look too bright. You need a very light hand, or maybe just a mac 187 or skunk brush, to help with the blending. .I barely tap my brush into the pan, I don't even swipe my brush across the pan, just a gentle *tap* once onto the surface, and that's enough blush for one cheek. The way I apply this one is by starting at the apple of my cheek and blushing upward. The rubberized packaging can get little stuff stuck to it, but I think it still looks very sleek and professional, and when I'm paying 25 dollars for a blush, I expect a certain degree of quality. It doesn't come with a brush, but I think it's for the best, as it keeps the packaging sleek and compact."
"I was worried this would basically be Orgasm without the shimmer (which I find to be very pink on me) but this shows up a lovely true peach, suitable for almost any skintone. It's different enough from other Nars blushes in this color family to own it - slightly warmer than Deep Throat but not as warm as Gina or as orangey/coral as Torrid. As with all Nars blushes it's pigmented and long-lasting. Very pleased with this! "
"Beautiful, natural coral. Very pinky/red coral. Soft peachy-pinky-red color that really brightens up my face. Love it! Gilda is one of my favorite NARS blushes! Gilda has enough red to add a flushy pop of color to the cheeks, but it also has enough peachy-pink to tone it down and make it very soft, natural and wearable. Some people compare Gilda to Torrid without the shimmer, but I don't think so. On my light PPP skin, Gilda has MUCH more red and pink in it than Torrid. I really don't think Gilda even has a shimmery counterpart among the NARS blushes. When I want Gilda to shimmer, I just apply a little Deep Throat or Sertao over top of it to add a bit of sparkle. I think Gilda is in a class of it's own! Very lovely color!"
Nars Taos
Taos: Desert rose with shimmer

Reviews
"Ignore the color description this blush is coral with gold shimmer thrown in the mix. A light hand an quality brushes are an absolute must. A GREAT summer color for darker ladies like myself. Love the little mirrored compact.'
"Dark Skin ladies buy this blush please. you will not regret it BUT I dont suggest using with the 168 use with the 187 and you will look perfect"
"This is another fabulous colour!! I find Taos to be more of a deep but bright peachy coral, and its incredibly complementing to girls with olive skin tones. Taos is however a heavily pigmented blush - and if you are a pale person or similar then be warned - a very light hand is compulsory!! If you arent afraid to give it a go then you will be rewarded by the richness and depth of colour that this particular blush has to offer. I absolutely love it and would definitely purchase again."
"I don't know what "desert rose" means, but to me this is a deep coral-peach with shimmer. It's a very rich shade, and like most NARS
blushes very pigmented, and should be applied with a light hand. Compared to other NARS blushes, this is most similar to (but a shade or two deeper than) Torrid, and the depth of the color is similar to Outlaw. On my AAB/NC25 skin, it wears slightly more peachy than coral, and it a great shade for the warmer months. As with most NARS powder blushes, the texture is smooth and silky and it comes in a black rubberized rectangular compact with mirror under the lid."
"What a lovely shade! I love the slight brightness of this pink-red color, it makes me look very healthy. It is super super pigmented and I'm NC30, so I just touch it lightly with my MAC 187 once and that is enough! This might last me for years! I'm not disappointed to be honest, I love the color, I love the pigmentation. I'd buy it again (if I can finish this up, lol!)."
"I currently now own 5 NARS blushes (Dolce Vita, Taj Mahal, Sin, Torrid and Taos) and I find myself reaching for this one most often than all the rest. It gives my C7, NC45 skinetone the perfect touch of rose radiance and shimmer. Not too much and definately not under-stated. Very well pigmented as all NARS blushes are but this one is just the HG. This color is classified as Desert Rose with Shimmer and it lives up to that name. The blush looks very bright in the container but on application it is not so strong. Don't be afraid.
I highly recommend this blush for Tan or darker skin tone ladies who are looking for a nice rosy finish. The color does not remain ashy and it shows up on the skin without having to do a heavy application.
I can truly say that I have found the perfect blush and It will be very hard indeed to get me to purchase another blush in the next year or so. I am sitting very pretty. Something very special will need to come along to make me consider switching. "
"This blush is really gorgeous. Once again, as with other nars blushes, it never looks like you have blush on, just that you have a great healthy flush and glow. I also use my 188 brush for this to make sure I don't go over board with application because it's very pigmented, like all my other nars blushes. Nars has yet to disappoint me. Bravo. "
"I've had this blush for over a year and thought it was time to write a review. In pan, NARS Taos looks like an orange-red with gold shimmer; once applied on my NC30is/Asian/yellow-beige skin, it is a deep coral with subtle shimmer. With all due respect to the reviewer below, I think "raspberry" is a misleading color connotation for this blush: rasberry implies a blue-pink undertone and this has none. Like all NARS blushes, the color is complex and unique but I feel that Taos is particularly underrated out of NARS blushes. I bought Taos when I went to the NARS counter and asked for a "summer blush" (in retrospect, how vague could I have been? LOL). The sales associate recommended Taos, which she said gives "a sunburnt look," and her description is spot on. Applied over bronzer, this totally gives the "been out in the sun drinking margaritas" look (minus the hangover and sun damage). This is VERY PIGMENTED, even compared to other NARS blushes, so be sure to use a light hand or better yet, a light hand holding a MAC 187 brush. I love the sexy flush I get from Taos- not innocent-sexy like Bobbi Brown Coral or NARS Deep Throat blushes but sophisticated-sexy. Because this gives so much color, all I need is some bronzer, mascara, and clear gloss and I'm good to go. NARS blushes are expensive but worth the $$$ - I've been using this steadily for a year now and it still looks brand new. The blendability and texture of this blush is divine- the pigmentation of it makes it very easy to overapply but a few buffering strokes with my 187 gives me a very natural flush. "
"Gorgeous! I finally broke down and got this, not sure how it would look on my NC30 skin but wanting color a bit stronger than my usual peach and pink blushes. In the pan this is a brick red but on my skin it gets much warmer and pinker, a sort of coral-red. It is very pigmented and more than any other NARS
blush I have, only needs to be brushed very lightly to show. It's really fresh and healthy looking now in the winter - just a tiny bit really warms and wakes up my face."
Nars Exhibit A
Exhibit A: Brilliant red

Reviews
"I would never have thought this blush could work for someone as pale as me (nc15) but this blush is just gorgeous. I use my MAC 188 stippling brush and barely touch the surface, a light hand is a must. I apply to the apples of my cheeks and blend for the most perfect, natural rosy cheek. Who would have thought such a scary looking colour could look so natural. This blush is extremely pigmented, I only use a tiny amount of product each time which balances out the price as this will last a very, very long time."
"I just got this blush and i love it. I am dark in complexion and I love the way it shows up on me without making me look like a circus clown. Love it!!"
"I will never have to buy this blush again but I would gladly do so if I have to. I've been using it all week and it still looks untouched. I'm NC45 and all I do is tap my 187 brush twice (barely touching) into this blush and it's enough color to put on my cheek to keep it looking like a natural blush color. It lasts all day. Sometimes I just want to apply more and more but it's just so simple to get the right look with hardly any product. If I could give it a 6 I would. This is my favorite Nars
blush yet. It's scary in the pan but natural on the skin with correct usage. This and MAC Tippy are my favorite go to natural blushes."
"This is my go-to blush for any face. I am an independent make-up artist (mostly proms and weddings) and this is the only blush I throw into my bag. Have used it on every skin tone out there and it never looks anything but fabulous. Just gotta watch to not apply too much. The proper brush and layering will help."
"This is a great blush. It makes me look healthy and flushed. It is very pigmented on me so i use the tiniest amount on the apples of my cheeks and blend. AMAZING!!! I think this blush 'exhibit a' and taj mahal will work serious magic on any face. I do highly recommend using both together. Honestly its just health in a compact ;) Please try this that the makeup counter. One side note: if you just stick your finger in to the blush to swatch the color you will recoil as it will just be BRIGHT RED. So do yourself a favor and have a MA put it on you with a blush brush. Then much happiness will occur."
"This blush is amazing for making you look all tawny and flushed. Like if you were slightly tipsy! This blush is great on but intimidating in the pan. It would look amazing on any skin tone with a varying degree of intensity. I recommend this beautiful soft highly pigmented blush to everyone! The texture of this so smooth!"
"NARS blushes are my absolutely favs! I have Torrid and Outlaw and recently picked up Exhibit A. It looks so beautiful in the pan, its shockingly red, that I almost didn't want to use it. I grabbed my MAC 187 and very lightly swiped it across the pan and then gently tapped on my cheeks. The result was a very natural looking flush that truly looks red but now in the least bit clown like. I have caramel brown skin and when I blush or walk outside on a crisp cold day, my cheeks turn red, not rosey. Exhibit A looks so natural and works with whatever colours I use on my eyes. This is my new HG blush. I would definitely repurchase, but it will be years before I run out. NARS blushes never make my sensitive cheeks break out, they last all day. I definitely suggest using the MAC 187 or 188 with NARS blushes, they pick up the right amount of product and make applying blush quick and easy. "
"Holy cow what a bright blush! But don't let that fool you into thinking it'll make you look like a clown. Once you get it on sheer, it looks so natural. It seriously looks like that flush I get when I've been working out or out in the cold for a while. I've only tried it with brown and pink and blue based eyeshadows, but I'm sure any coloring can work with this blush. I love it, as well as my other nars blushes. "
"Beautiful shade for darker skin tones. If you can get past the frightening Crayola colored orange, it's gorgeous. It goes on as a natural flush. Word of caution: be extremely careful with your blush brush. This is one pigmented product. You only need a gentle swipe and you're good to go."
"This is a fantastic blush for Black skin. Whenever I flip through magazines, I'm always so envious of the non-Black models in the makeup ads that have that natural flush look. It's so hard to find blush for Afro bellas that looks natural. However, this is the answer to my "natural" makeup wish. It gives me a natural "my crush just smiled at me" glow. Every time I wear it people comment about how I seem to radiate an inner joy. I highly recommend it and the entire NARS
line to any woman of color. "
Nars Dolce Vita
Dolce Vita: Dusty rose

Reviews
"Normally I steer clear of anything remotely warm, given my degree of paleness. And this always looked like a warm coral red with orangey tones, but I'm so glad I randomly picked this up one day and tested it on my hand. Lightly applied, it doesn't look warm at all, instead it's a very natural shade of rose red that you associate with winter cheeks.
NARS
matte finishes seem to last longer than the shimmery ones, and boy does this last. It doesn't fade in intensity one bit, neither does it oxidize and darken on my combo skin. Color stays true all day and looks as good by the time you get home as you did leaving in the morning.
I have a tiny NARS blush collection but each one is dearly loved and used at least once a week. Desire is fresh and youthful, Sin is mature and classy, Dolce Vita is raw and sexy."
"Dolce Vita is such a gorgeous shade! I'm Asian with very yellow undertones, and this blush looks so natural (unlike Mata Hari, which was too rosy). It is perfect for a daytime look, since it has no shimmer. It is very pigmented and a little goes a long way, so I probably wouldn't have to repurchase, but if it ever ran out I would in a heartbeat."
"I was not attracted by this blush when I first saw all the NARS blushes lined on the counter, but when I tested it on my hand, I instantly fell in love with it. It is sort of a brick-red color, but it is very sophisticated and mature on my face. Most of the blushes I use basically brighten my face and give a nice sheen , but this one, it makes me feel more feminine and delicate. Absolutely love this! But, it is very very pigmented, so you must be careful when using it and take time to blend very well. The color payoff is just amazing, though I said I would repurchase this stuff, but I don't think I can ever run out of this."
"So pigmented!! Think of it this way the less product you have on the more natural it will look, tapping the brush lightly on the blush will give you enough color for your cheeks, making them look genuinely flushed. The color is just gorgeous, perfect for everyday look, though more suitable for fall and winter. When anyone asks for suggestions on blushes, this is the one i recommend. Would buy it again, lol in fact i have a backup.
more people should be trying this blush!!!!! i dont want it to be dc"
"This is the most natural looking blush color I have ever come across!!! dolce vita is actually my favorite cosmetic color lol, the lipstick and lip gloss are just as gorgeous as the blush, though i wouldnt wear them all together. I've spent so much money looking for the right color for my cheeks and I can finally say this is it. I have a tan, golden skin and i feel pink blushes look forced on me, if that makes any sense, it just doesnt blend well and sits on top of my face. Dolce vita gives me the kind of flush you would get from cold weather which is what i want, you can use a light hand for an everyday, more subtle look, and build it up at night for more drama. When i want a sun kissed kind of look i go for torrid and sometimes taj mahal."
"This is such a strong pigmented blush, I just need to lightly dip my blush in the pan for the amount I need for my cheeks. SO pigmented. So for the pigmentation alone, this blush deserves a 4.
I love all the shimmerless blush NARS makes, the other one I have is amour. This is definitely more pigmented than amour and I honestly love them both. To apply, I either use a kabuki or the mac 187, whatever blush brush you prefer, dab a bit in for colour and buff along the cheeks. The colour payoff is a warm dusty rose, kind of like pomengranate/raspberry colour. Because its shimmerless, it gives a very very natural flush, and as other have described, gives you that you've just came in from the cold look, that blushing colour on your cheeks.
When applied correctly, this blush is beautiful!"
"This is the blush I have been searching for! I wanted a blush that just looks like a natural flush on my cheeks and this is it. Those pale and peach blushes do nothing for my medium cool skintone, and when I tried Dolce Vita, it just lit up my face and brought out the blue in my eyes. I use a fiber optic blush brush and it picks up just enough blush to make it look natural. I think this blush would work for alot of skintones and is beautiful."
"Holy pigment! This is a beautiful deep rose, almost brick-coloured blush. I need only the lightest tap with my 187, then I swirl it on the back of my hand to distribute the colour evenly on the brush, and it is enough colour for one cheek. I love how I don't have to keep piling it on to see colour, and how incredibly long-lasting it is. Nars sets the par for blushes."
"NARS is known for making top quality and wonderful blushes. Dolce Vita is a Dusty Rose color that I think can go with any skin tone. The texture is super smooth and easy to blend. Highly pigmented with loads of color. If you are looking for a nice matte, plumish-pink color, this is it! For this color, a little goes a long way. I sweep too much on my blush brush once and it made my skin look to pink, so use it with a light hand; but if you use the right amount, it gives you that "I just had a wonderful jog" flush. I will definitely try out the other NARS blushes, but not now because they are quite expensive. Overall, wonderful product!"
Nars Crazed
Crazed: Raspberry red with shimmer

Reviews
"crazed is scary in the pan as its a heavily pigmented, raspberry color with gold shimmer. and it can be scary on the cheeks if applied with a heavy hand.
however, applied ever so lightly to the apples of my cheeks, followed by a light dusting of a silver white highlighting powder, i can achieve the ultimate snow white flush. pair with black mascara and sheer red gloss and you have my snow princess look- you know the radiant flush you get when you spend time just enough time in the cold but you go inside before your eyes start to water.
oh i have spent a few afternoons at home looking like bozo the clown, due to an overzealous application of crazed. practice your crazed look before you to wear it out. crazed doesn't rub down easily. i find i look kinda bacony if i try to work down the color by applying foundation or powder over it.
for reference, i am so pale that i have difficulty finding any foundation to match my palor. i am a very neutral pale, having no real pink, yellow or olive undertones. i have very dark hair and eyes. so crazed can work for the palest ppp. though i would sample first if you have pink undertones because i think this might make you look very ruddy.
i dislike the rubber casing on all nars
products because it becomes ensconced in glitter and foundation fingerprints rather quickly. but the overall quality of nars blushes, including crazed, makes me overlook the unsightly packaging. "
"SO gorgeous! It's a beautiful raspberry pink with golden shimmer. It's insanely pigmented so you just need the tiniest dab, but it's such a pretty color. Like Outlaw on steroids! Looks amazing on a wide variety of skintones, but you do have to be very careful to use a light hand."
"Even if I wore this blush every day, I'd probably still have some left when I'm 90 years old, cuz it's THAT pigmented. The slightest tap with my skunk brush will pick up enough color for both cheeks. I still haven't quite mastered the application of this blush, so I have to go over my cheeks with loose powder to dilute the color.
Crazed looks like a shimmery raspberry with flecks of gold. Very pretty, and on the cheeks it looks like a deep pink. The Nars SA said that Crazed is warmer than Outlaw, but I think it's the other way around... in any case, if you already have Outlaw I don't think you *need* Crazed. I tried one on each cheek and on my skin tone the two looked the same."
"This is a standard "Fall/Winter" Blush for me. I love the "flushed" look it give me. It's a cool toned raspberry flush that gives that look of I've been ice skating all afternoon look. It has a slight shimmer but it really just adds dimension when on your cheek - nothing glittery or over the top. It just keeps it from looking matte (yuck). For those that give it flack for being too dark, um did you look in the pan first? You only need to apply one pass with a large fluffy brush for perfection. Anything more is valley off the dolls. Love it."
"wow is all i can say about this blush. its beautiful and fast becoming a favorite of mine. its the perfect raspberry with a little gold shimmer thats neither too cool nor too warm for my neutral complection. not to mention it is so pigmented. i'm a true PPP, so with this i have to be extremely careful not to apply too much. sometimes even with my skunk brush, it looks clownish. so i apply it with a fan brush and its perfect. it gives the perfect raspberry glow that really brightens up my face and gives me a very youthful glow. and it has great lasting power...i have oily skin so most blushes disappear within an hour...but not this. it lasts all day. i think this color would work on pretty much every skintone, from the darkest of the dark to the lightest of the light. i'd definitely buy this again, even though its so pigmented, i use so little, i doubt as if i'd ever have to. "
"This blush is an amazing raspberry! It looks dark but when I apply it lightly , my cheeks look like a candy.Only one touch of brush is enough.I have very fair skin so dont hesitate buying it .Excellent blusher ,its package is very chic and cute. "
"A unique, beautiful raspberry pink with gold shimmer. I use the MAC 188 small skunk brush to apply it sheerly, because it's far too easy to use a conventional blush brush to pack on the colour and end up with racing stripes, or a fevered look! Go easy when you're swiping with your brush - you want to just lightly *touch* the blush, not drag your brush across it.
For reference, I am Asian, NC20-25, and this looks very natural on me. I look like I'm glowing from within. I like to top it with a highlighting powder (I use Hyper Real pressed powder) for an angelic, innocent glow. I don't apply it across the whole cheekbone, but rather lightly on the apples, and then blend upwards.
Texture is extremely blendable - one of the more pigmented yet blendable NARS
shades. The shimmer is less noticeable once applied, because of the sheer appliation. Will definitely repurchase, if I ever, ever run out."
"With a light hand (and 187) this can be done with beautiful results. I like that it looks shocking in the pan and gorgeous on my cheeks. It is a shocking raspberry colour with some sparkly bits in it, but the sparkle doesn't show up that much on me (which I like!). I doubt I will ever hit pan on this sucker, been using it for about a year now and it looks untouched. For the price I think this is great value and would most certainly replace it if I ever ran out (doubt it!). I hate how NARS packaging looks dirty after awhile, bumping and grinding with all my other make-up.... but I guess thats alright because I have dropped this a few times and it's A-OK. Richly pigmented, and blends like a dream. NARS... I LOVE YOU."
"Let me start by saying if you have lighter colored skin (like fair to medium and maybe even olive toned) you need to apply this beautiful blush , IMO with a LIGHT hand. If you don't, you will look like your face has been slapped about 100 times. I learned that lesson fairly quickly.
Now with that said, this blush is a beautiful berry color which I would venture to say its more of a berry color on the "warm" side than on the "cool" side. I like this blush because it warms up my face nicely and it lasts and lasts, at least on my combo/oily skin.
Because such a light hand is needed when you apply this blush, I see this lasting me for a long, long, LONG time.
Like most NARS products, it comes in that "rubberized" compact that is very sturdy and portable."
Nars Sin
Sin: Berry with gold shimmer

"Holy schmoly, this blush is awesome. I've been in search for the perfect blush forever. I'll find something I like and then it either gets discontinued or it stops working as well on me as I (and my skin) get older. For years, my go-to blush was Clinique New Clover, but I'd often find that it was a little pale. Yes, it's buildable, but I'd find that I have to use quit a bit of it to reach the desired plummy shade. I'm very fair and never looked like a clown w/ the Clinique, it's just not that pigmented. However, this NARS blush is the opposite. It's heavily pigmented and it only takes a small amount on the blush (think pressing the blush to the compact) to give me the desired color. Plus, I love the hint of gold, I think it really warms up my face. Yes, it's expensive at $25, but I really think it's worth it. I think this one compact will last a long time, but I will definitely be repurchasing in the future."
"People rave about Orgasm but Sin is really the best NARS blush. The color is excellent. I tan and the hint of purple with slight shimmer looks smooth and really contours my cheeks. I'm on my 4th one already!"
"First time I tried this on I looked like I had bruises on both my cheekbones! Turns out it was the MA's fault cause Sin could easily turn out to be my fave NARS
